It took an almost eye opening hit with fate to make her see that her life is well boring. She has a great job but lately her family is making her want to tear her hair out. It has been a long time since a man has been in her life but something about Derek Grant is making her feel alive. She has always been in her comfort zone yet Derek is making her see there is more to life then work and plans. She is the responsible, workaholic and noncrazy sister but can she be the woman for her Derek.

He knows a woman like Talia will never give him the time but something about her speaks to him. It has been months since a woman has caught his interest, lately it has been his dad. He knows if a woman is with him it is not just them but his father as well. He is a packaged deal for so many reasons and knowing that Talia might give him a chance is well bringing happiness and not feel well alone in all he is handling.

Have to say I love the Sugar Lake series by Melissa Foster and boy Derek hot, sexy addition to this series. I felt for Derek for what he is going through yet what he does is not what defines him. Now Talia is not your typical strong woman but she sees what she can be like in his eyes. This is more than just a romance it is about seeing more than meets the eye and love that Melissa Foster shows us to never judge a person on the outside but what they really are in the inside.

“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
