He was 18 when he left the only place he called home as a rebel, a troublemaker in the making and now Nicole Davidson has no idea how to control things in the Rocky Peak Lodge. For months she has been taking care of Mad Max Rockwell and now the prodigal son is back ruining things for her. The plan was simple and seemed to be going her way but one comment and decadent kiss is all it takes for all her plans to go up in smoke. It is not just her life on the line but her sister as well. Can she pull this off or will Kai wreck her with all the promises of love?

He was 18 when he left and swore will never come back and didnt care what happened to his father. Yet the thought of his father turning the lodge to something else is just dang craziness. He was ready to fight for his legacy and home but didn’t count on Nurse Nicole to well turn him. She means well but there are some things that cannot be talked about between him and his dad the lodge is one of them. Can he the one who always started trouble make his father see how crazy it to think of selling but keep his heart intact?

Oh boy is this new series by Jennifer Bernard starting off good in a way the Rockwells will blow you away. Kai starts of the series as rebellious, troublemaker never caring about anyone and the nurse that well can heal anything. These two together may seem like oil and water at first but dang when they explore each other watch out Jennifer Bernard heats up real good. This is one series that is going to make you love each Rockwell even the old curmudgeon Mad Max. Loved it
