The first book in the Kings of Football series shows us the cockiest, sexiest and well vulnerable player if the team. Men want to be like him and girls just want to be seen by him but all River wants is someone to really see him. Anastasia is one woman who really sees past the player and in many ways it scares him. Sure he can annoy her and make her mad but when they come together it is a sexual tension with going through. Being the first we see these men behind the football and what they’re really like behind the scenes. Ilsa Madden-Mills sure started it sexy and fun giving us glimpses of the team making you want more.

โWhy is the elevator so slow?โ she mutters.
โTell me three things youโre grateful for,โ I say.
She does a double take. โIs this where Iโm like yourโฆpet project? Donโt feel sorry for me.โ
Rainbow, sorry is the last thing I feel for you.
I want you under me.
Deep and hard.
โHow are things with Donovan?โ I ask.
Her throat bobs. โI-I canโt talk to you about him. I mean, yeah, um, itโฆdoesnโt feel right, you know, to him.โ
Right. Heโs her boyfriend and my frat brother.
The door opens and she slips out, her arm brushing against my chest. I follow, sucking down the electricity between us.
She blows out a breath. โI know what this is, why youโre being nice to meโโ

Instinct takes over and I back her against the wall, towering over her. I tilt her chin up, and she doesnโt speak or move, just breathing fast, as my hand slides around to her nape. A hum of heat goes through my body as my hands tangle in her hair.
โRiverโฆwhatโฆโ Pink rises on her cheeks as her lashes flutter.
