REVIEW.. Love You Anyway by Stacy Travis

Love You Anyway: A Small-Town, Brother’s Best Friend, Age Gap Romance (Buttercup Hill Book 2) by Stacy Travis
309 pages

Just for one she wants to be taken serious. Everybody in the vineyard see’s her as the little kid she used to be always causing shenanigans never taking responsibilites for what she did. Now as an adult it seems she will always be reminding of the the things she used to do. PJ Corbett knows how hard it is to be something when you all you want to do is just well be yourself. All her life lately she has worked to prove to her brother’s that she can be the one to rely on. The vineyard is not just her family business it is a part of her that has made her who she is. Something is happening with it and her father is the only one who can fix it. The thing is the father she grew up with is not the same one that talks to them anymore. Gone is the fun dad, the one to run the business and now is the shell of the father they all loved. It’s not just the vineyard having problems but in comes a friend of Archer’s and now she is questioning everything. Colin Hathaway is a man that not just gets her but seems to well understand her. Just like her he is trying to be something but is well failing as well. Older men has never been her thing but Colin brings out a spark in her she has felt in a long time. Can she finally be the woman she is supposed to be and still keep her from falling for an astrophysicist?

All Colin had to do was hide. Going to see his best friend and his vineyard, Buttercup Hill seemed like a great idea. Some people might be calling him a child for throwing a tantrum but feels like close to burning out. The universe and the stars has always been his thing, the only thing in his life that makes sense until her. It seemed that when he tries to be well normal is when distractions happen and PJ aka his Junebug is the beautiful distraction he never expected. First time in years there is a woman who not only gets to him but seems to understand his nerd self. The only thing he knows his work and well more work. With PJ he is finally able to be just himself and do normal things like going to a movie. His time at the vineyard is short but being with PJ he wants more than just two weeks. He knows a man like him can never compete with a woman like her but is determined to give it a try. Two weeks is all he has but knowing that PJ has taken center stage in his life instead of the stars is making his heart taking notice. Can he just walk away from her after his time is up? Can he prove to his Junebug that she is not his universer and all the planets aligned?

We are back to Buttercup Hill Winery and boy has a lot of things changed. We see the whole gang back even little Fiona but finally see PJ, Archer’s little sister and somewhat the jokester in the family well used to be. It is because of her past that she works hard to be taken seriously within her family. Then we have Colin, a man who is just trying to be normal instead of the all serious workaholic he is. Two people opposite from each other, yet in a way Stacy Travis makes these two perfect in every way. One is trying to be something she has no idea who to be or where to start and the other is trying to know what’s it’s like to be average. It is true what they say work, work and more work will make you well boring. The thing is Colin is a billionaire, hot and sexy in a way that PJ has no idea how compete in his world. PJ is exactly what he needs to shake his world and restart his heart again. I loved that PJ is not about his money but really what he can do to make a change and make the world better in a way. One thing for sure the Corbetts are definitely a family full of secets and boy interested to see where Stacy Travis will take this family business now. I loved seeing PJ becoming who she is and finally making her voice be heard with the family and Colin is just the perfect man to show her that it’s not the outside that matters but who you reall are in the inside. Loved it.
